Today, I am going to show you the supplement stack for eczema that helped me and many others heal. Supplements often get a bad reputation because many companies that make them are looking for profit and not for user satisfaction and healing.
As somebody who has been to an extreme case of eczema and who is now almost completely eczema-free, I can guarantee you that you need a good supplement stack.
The problem is with supplement stacks; there is a lot of confusion on what works and what doesn’t, and how much of these supplements you should take. The good news is that I have done that for you. I will tell you what supplement stack healed me from severe eczema to being eczema-free, and I later shared to other people that I knew who also have eczema, which helped them extremely.
If you don’t know who I am or don’t think it is possible to beat an extreme case of eczema, I suggest you read my about me page where I wrote in detail my story and showed pictures of myself before and after starting my protocol.
Why supplements are essential for eczema healing
First, you have to understand what causes eczema for most people, and it is sad and scary that most of you reading have never heard about it, and it is called leaky gut. That is the term that we use for gut damage, which everyone with eczema has to some degree. Leaky gut allows food to get into your bloodstream, which causes terrible inflammation, and eczema is nothing but inflammation on your own skin.
Mainly junk food and antibiotics cause leaky gut, but you are probably wondering if there is any solution to this problem, and the answer is yes, but it is not easy. As I already mentioned, I had a horrible case of eczema, such a severe case that after I got hospitalized for over a month, I didn’t go outside for a couple of months until I discovered the ultimate elimination diet that got me healed.
There has been extensive research on certain vitamins and supplements to see if they can help people who are suffering from eczema and similar skin problems. Today, I am going to tell you which are the best vitamins to supplement if you have eczema and why.
I highly advise you to read my ultimate guide on how to healed eczema and join my free e-mail list for the best information about this topic and my master class that got dozens of people healed from eczema.
Now that you understand what causes your eczema and why supplements can help you heal from it, we can jump over to the topics of which supplements I take since I started my healing ways.

Vitamin D3: the most important supplement for eczema
Vitamin D3 is at the top of my list, and that is for a very good reason. Vitamin D3 acts as a natural antibiotic, but without all the horrible side effects of antibiotics. It is incredible for inflammation and allergies, because it tells your body what to be threatened by and what not to be threatened by. Allergies usually happen because of an overprotective immune system that sees everything as an enemy.
There have been many vitamin D3 studies, and many of them link a vitamin D3 deficiency to eczema.
Vitamin D3 is also a lifesaver if you have eczema-caused infections like I used to have. Sometimes my skin would turn black because of how bad the infections were.
Your body automatically gets vitamin D3 when it comes in contact with the sun, which amazes me every time I think about it. But I know that it is hard to get enough sun because of other life chores, and your skin may hurt because of the heat and sweat that comes when you are trying to get some sun.
That is the reason why if I could choose only one supplement to use for the rest of my life, it would be a vitamin D3+K2 supplement.
Also, it is important to know that vitamin D3 is almost impossible to consume in solid amounts from food.
I personally use Dr. Berg vitamin D3 supplement, and it is amazing. Dr. Berg added vitamin K2 to the mix because it helps with absorption.

Omega-3 fatty acids: calming inflammation from within
Omega-3 fatty acids are well known to be great against all inflammation and for a good reason as well. They reduce levels of leukotriene B4, which is a potent pro-inflammatory compound. The reduction of this compound will cause eczema directly.
Also, Omega-3 fatty acids are great for allergies, and a lot of people with eczema have allergies that are extremely connected to their eczema. I remember how my eczema got worse every time there was a season with a lot of allergens in the air or when my room was dusty.
Food sources of omega-3: salmon, mackerel, sardines, flaxseed, and walnuts
Even though there are a lot of healthy foods containing omega-3, I still highly encourage you to take a supplement because you will need a lot more omega-3 than just to not be deficient. You don’t want to just have enough; you want to thrive, and this counts for all the supplements on the list.
Also, some of these foods are not in the carnivore diet, which is the diet I recommend most people who want to heal from eczema.

Zinc: The Skin-Healer
Zinc is essential for three things that directly matter for eczema: building a strong skin barrier, wound healing, and immune regulation. This makes zinc the most important thing you could take for pure skin healing, especially if you have wounds or infections on your skin.
I wish I knew this when I had the worst infections in my life, when I was a whole month in the hospital for a serious infection, my doctors just fed me antibiotics and corticosteroids instead of giving me high doses of zinc and other things on this list. After I started the carnivore diet and started taking these supplements, I never went through a skin infection in my life, and zinc was an important part of that.
Zinc heals your skin in multiple ways, and one of them is by supporting a process called keratinocyte differentiation, which keeps the moisture in and irritants out.
I personally take 30mg of zinc in a supplement daily. My total intake of zinc is definitely higher than 30mg because on the diets that I support and which healed me, you will eat a lot of foods with zinc. Which is mostly meat, the number one zinc food in the world.
Zinc is useful for everyone, but especially for people like us because of constant infections and wounds that eczema creates.

Probiotics: Fixing the Gut to Heal the Skin
Now this is a heavy and important topic. Earlier, I talked about why and how leaky gut causes eczema, and how junk food and antibiotics create the leaky gut. Unfortunately, that is not it, and there are other consequences and negative effects on your gut. Your gut contains billions of positive bacteria, which are crucial not only for digestion, but also for your whole body. This is the reason why a lot of people with eczema have other inflammatory issues like depression.
When you take an antibiotic, your gut loses a lot of these bacteria. This is something that I think about every day, and that I lose sleep over because I think about how my life would be if I had never taken those many antibiotics and corticosteroids that ruined my life.
But don’t worry, there is good news, and the news is that with the right routine and lifestyle, you can recover and get those bacteria back in your gut. One of the steps in that process is taking a probiotic supplement, which helps your gut return to normal and even makes it stronger than usual.
I would recommend Dr Berg’s probiotics for multiple reasons, like the quality of ingredients and the amount of CFUs per serving.
Also, Dr Berg is one of the rare, if not only, supplement creators who puts the ingredient list next to his products. The fact that most people don’t know about is that most supplement companies are owned by processed food companies or manufacturers. And their supplements are created with cheap and synthetic ingredients that may even worsen your eczema.
It is very sad that they have the kind of monopoly where they sell you something that creates the problem, and then they sell you a solution that will not even work.

Vitamin E: The Skin-Protective Antioxidant
Even though vitamin E is a common ingredient in many creams for eczema, the vitamin E in them is synthetic and not natural, and it would have much better effects if you took it in the form of a supplement.
The first way vitamin E can help you is by strengthening your immune system, which enhances your body’s ability to fight infections and inflammation.
Also, if you already have wounds on your body, high doses of vitamin E are a must because it is great for wound healing.
Vitamin E, like other fat-soluble vitamins, is mainly found in animal foods. This highlights how good the diets that I recommend, which are mostly or complelty animal based, are if you have eczema.
Besides getting it from food, I would recommend taking between 500-1000IUs of vitamin E through supplementation a day. Which is most likely one pill or serving in most supplements.
For some reason, it was a little bit hard to find many supplement companies making vitamin E, even the sites that I usually go to didn’t make it, but after finding and comparing a couple of them, I am sure that this one is the best.

How to maximize the benefits from these supplements
There are some finishing touches I want you to know about.
Many people don’t know these tricks, and unfortunately, they are not going to receive as many benefits as they could from these supplements as they could if they followed these simple rules.
1. Drink fat-soluble vitamins with a fatty meal
They are called fat-soluble vitamins for a reason, and they are vitamins A, D, E, and K.
This means their Bioavailability goes through the roof when taken with some fat like butter or avocado, and when they are taken with each other.
This is one of the reasons why I like Dr Berg’s vitamin D3 supplement the best, because he puts vitamin K2 there as well to make it more effective.
2. Drink magnesium with your other supplements
Not getting enough magnesium could lead to a lack of bioavailability from your other supplements.
I would recommend you take a magnesium supplement as well and make sure you are getting enough magnesium through your diet.
3. First meal intake
There have been solid studies done that show when you take your supplements with your first meal of the day instead of the second or third meal, the supplements will have more effect.
Conclusion
There is nothing harder than dealing with eczema, I know, because I have had it since I was a child. Eczema becomes even harder to deal with when there is a dozen voices telling you to try this vitamin or that supplement. It doesn’t have to be overcomplicated; you just need a couple of main supplements that will do most of the work. Supplements are not the only thing you need to focus on, though, so read my ultimate guide on how I healed my severe eczema through diet and supplementation if you want to do the same.
